THE BASIC RULES
- - Paragraphs should be detailed and not very, very long.
- - Connectives should connect the sentences, so the sentences make sense and are more clear.
- - Topic sentences should summarize the topic in a short, clear paragraph.
- - The structure should be in chronological order so that everything makes sense and isn´t messy and 'all over the place'.
EXERCISES
- Task 1: Connectives
- Connect the sentences using connectives.
- Use either "although", "and", "while" or "because".
- a) He couldn´t go to the ski trip. He was sick.
- b) He was in town. His mother was out.
- c) She was outside. It was raining.
