Conditional I

With the "conditional clauses I" you say something which is probably if something happens.Every conditional clause consists of two parts the If-clause and the main-clause. You write the If-clause in the simple present. For example: If Jay becomes a famous singer,... In the main-clause you write in the will-future. For example: ...,he will earn a lot of Money.

Exercises

Translate the sentences:

1. If I have to go to school, I will get up early.
2. Wenn ich Fahrrad fahre, bin ich müde.
3. If I don´t drink something for a Long time, I will die. :-(
4. Wenn ich müde bin, schlafe ich.
5. If I ride inline-skate, I will never fall down.
6. Wenn ich Clash Royale spiele, verliere ich oft.

Rule / Deeper explaination

In the "Conditional clause II" you say something which isn´t probably or imposible. It consists of two parts too. The If-clause and the main clause. The If-clause is written in the simple past. For example: If a film-maker discovered me,... The main-clause is written ,with would+inf. For example: ...,he would be famous. When you want to make a negative sentence look at the tenses.

2. Wenn ich reich wäre, würde ich ein schnelles Auto haben.
3. If I had 1 Million Dollars, I would buy a big House.
4. Wenn ich ein Auto fahren will, brauche ich einen Führerschein.

6. Wenn ich so schnell wie Flash wäre, würde ich der schnellste Mensch sein.
