1. Chapter

Cathy Crosby is new in the Portland High-School. She is nervous because she has moved to another School for the third time in five years. She has heard a lot about new kids at High-Schools. They become Outsiders and she doesn´t want to be one of them. In her new class, she felt pretty well. Her teachers are nice and a reporter of the school newspaper, Jamie Hanson, wants to interview her. He meets her in front of the cafeteria to interview her about her school history and her hobbies. She likes him and thinks about to work for the school newspaper too, as he suggested.
