Conditional I

Rule / Deeper explanation

With the "conditional I" you express that something will probably happen. Every conditional clause consists of two parts: the if-clause and the main-clause.
The verb in the if-clause is in the simple present.
For example:
If Jay becomes a famous singer,...

In the main-clause you use the will-future.
For example:
...,he will earn a lot of money.

Conditional II

Rule / Deeper explaination

In the "Conditional clause II" you say something which isn´t probably or imposible. It consists of two parts too. The If-clause and the main clause. The If-clause is written in the simple past. For example: If a film-maker discovered me,... The main-clause is written ,with would+inf. For example: ...,he would be famous. When you want to make a negative sentence look at the tenses.

Translate the sentences:

1. If I was you, I would want to be me too.
2. Wenn ich reich wäre, würde ich ein schnelles Auto haben.
3. If I had 1 Million Dollars, I would buy a big House.
4. Wenn ich ein Auto fahren will, brauche ich einen Führerschein.
5. If I could fly, I would fly to the USA.
6. Wenn ich so schnell wie Flash wäre, würde ich der schnellste Mensch sein.
7. If I don't have to go to school, I won't get up early.
8. Wenn ich lange Fahrrad fahren würde, wäre ich müde.
9. If I didn´t drink anything for a long time, I would die. :-(
10. Wenn ich lange Computer spielen würde, würde ich einschlafen.
11. If I ride inline-skate, I will never fall down.
12. Wenn ich Clash Royale spiele, verliere ich oft.
