Greg only finds a few presents for him under the Christmas tree, but Manny gets everything he wanted for Christmas. Greg gives presents to his brothers and his parents. And he also gets something from Rodrick. But this is a comic Greg hates. When Greg’s Uncle has a present for Greg, he thinks it is a video game but it is just a picture of Uncle Charlie.

When Greg sits in his room, his dad tells him that there is another present in the garage. It is a brand-new weight set, but Greg isn’t very happy about it, because he lost his interest in weight-lifting.

Greg goes back inside. When Greg sits down on the couch, his mum says she has got a present for Greg. Greg opens it and sees a red wool sweater. His mum is very confused because she bought a new video game for Greg. Then they realize that they have swapped the presents and the Giving Tree guy has got Greg’s present. Greg’s mum calls this a Christmas miracle, but Greg explains to her that you need a TV and a game system to play this video game.

Next, Greg goes to Rowley’s house. Greg gives the comic he got from Rodrick to Rowley and Rowley likes it very much. Rowley also has a present for Greg. Rowley got Greg a Big Wheel. Greg isn’t very happy but he acts like he was happy. Then, Rowley shows Greg what he got for Christmas. Rowley got the video game so Greg can play it when he is at Rowley’s house.
