A day in New York City

On holidays I went to New York City for one day and I think New York is the best city in the world. First we arrived at JFK airport and took a taxi to our hotel and took a drink. One hour later, we took the metro (New York City’s underground) and went to Manhattan. We arrived at the Grand Central Station. It’s so big and old but nice.

When we went out of the station there were skyscrapers everywhere you look and everything is so much bigger than in Germany. It was so fantastic. Then we went around the corner and there was the 5th Avenue! Hollister, Zara, Michael Kors and much more. It’s a paradise for me.

After the shopping we took the metro again to downtown and went to a little park where you can see the sea. The sun was going down and there it was! The Statue Of Liberty. It is so crazy to see it in real life.

Then we took the metro again and went to Times Square. The sun had already gone down and it was so powerful. Everywhere you look were people. And then we went to our hotel. And when I was lieing down on my bed I thought that it was the best day in my whole life!
