A yellow suprise
Last year, on the 31th Dezember everyone celebrated the last celebration of the year, New Year‘s Eve. It wasn‘t just a normal New Year. A few weeks before, I‘ve invited my best friend Emilie for New Year‘s Eve and went really crazy with her that day. We didn‘t want to watch the fireworks on the street. We wanted to watch the fireworks at a special place.
At 11:00 pm we went in a little cottage. There we decorated everything and looked around. We saw an old box and looked at eachother. I was really curious, so I ran to the box and tried to open it but it was closed. We had to search something for opening it. Emilie searched inside and I searched outside. Suddendly we heard a noise. What was it? It sounded like something squeaked. It came out of the box. But where was the key?
Finally Emilie shouted that she found it. Together, we opened the box. First I could a yellow thing. I saw something like a feather, a yellow feather. When we opened the box completely, there was a little chick! We laughed and put the chick into a warm blanket.
After that, we enjoyed the New Year‘s Eve. It was awesome. Sadly we had to bring the chick back to it‘s mum but we will never forget this sweet little thing!
