2 Your holidays

A: Where did you go?

B: I went to Cologne. And where did you go?

A: I was in London for 5 days. And how long did you stay in Cologne?

B: My family and I spend two weeks in Cologne. Did you go with your family?

A: Yes, I did. It was the best holiday, because we saw lots of sights in London, the best sight was the London eye. What was your favourite at Cologne?

B: My favourite was a sight too. It was Cologne Cathedral. We were in a fantastic museum, but I don’t know the name of the museum. Did you visit a museum too?

A: No, we weren’t in a museum.

B: I don’t like German food. Oh, it’s half past 10, I have to go, bye!

B: Okay, bye!

1. Did you stay home or go away? - I went to the USA by plane.

2. Where did you go? - I went to New York.

3. What did you do there? - I went to lots of beaches. I played Golf and went swimming in the sea. Sometimes I hiked.

4. Did you eat something special? - Yes, I ate American sweets… they were quiet strange.

5. How long did you stay there? - I stayed a couple of days there.

6. Did you have fun? - Yeah, I had fun! I tried something new.
