Chapter No. 1:

In the first chapter of snakeman Cathy came to a new school. It‘s her third school and she knows that that wasn‘t a good thing. On her first day at Portland High she fakes her person and plays the „nice girl“. First the homeroom teacher introduce her at her new class. When the bell did ring a boy hurried over to her. It is Jamie, he said he write for the newspaper and wanted to make a interview with her. It's much fun, making the interview. He ask some questions about her hobbies. He ask her to work for the newspaper, like he did. She just want to accept but she didn‘t said that, so she say that she need more time to think about it.

Chapter No. 2:

On Cathys first day at the new School the bell rang, she get her Things out of her locker, but she feel that People are standing behind her. So she turns around and see three Boys Standing in the front of her. The leader of them has a small head with empty eyes of a snake. He say something about a list with members of his Club. He says that Cathy is one of them but she didn't wants to. He says that she have to pay Membership dues every week. She didn't wants to but she is so scared of him, that she pays and after the Boys hurried away she gone home.

Chapter No. 3:

In chapter three of the novel, Cathy is on her way home. In the bus she thinks a lot about the Things which happened. At home her brother ask her how her first day at School was but she didn't say the trouth. She didn't say anything about the snakemen and his Club. Cathy is also thinking about saying her mother what happened or not saying what happened. At least she didn't sayed something to anyone.

Chapter No. 4:

In the fourth chapter of snakemen Cathy pays the Money every week, so she has a strategy. Her non-restistance strategy. One day the snakemen wants more than her Money. He sees her necklace and wants that she give it to him. If not he would take it. She didn't wants any problems, so she put it out and give it to him. After that she realise that her strategy did failed. She need a new one but than she get a call. It is Jamie who calls her because one of the Reporters of the newspaper is sick so he want to know if she will work for the Reporter. She agrees. Not much time after that her toughts are back at the snakemen. She needs some help but she has to be carefully.

Chapter No. 5:

In chapter five Cathy wants to talk with someone about the snakemen and his gang so she goes to the principal of her new School. At his Office, first she has a Little talk with him but than she realise that he is a bit nervous when she wants to talk about her Problems so she decide to don't talk with him about the snakemen and his gang.

Chapter No. 6:

In the sixth chapter Cathy makes a list with Persons who she can trust so she begin to look for one member of her list, Mr. Black, to tell him her Story. She found him and begin to tell him a Problem. After that she says that her necklace was stolen. He says that she should Report it to the principal Office. He wants to knew some more detailles so she went trought the rest quickly and even bevor she left his Office, she has already crossed him off the list.

Chapter No. 7:

In the seventh chapter of the novel, Cathy tells her mother the whole Story about the snakemen and his gang and that she has a Strategie. Her mum, eileen first asks why she didn't told her before. They both are thinking about a solution for the present Situation. At least they have the idea that they could search People who are on Cathy's side and wants to help her.

Chapter No. 8:

At the beginning of chapter eight she is continueing with her list but she concentrates on her class mates and her teachers. Later Jamie asked her to go canoeing with him. She really wants to say yes but she never sat in a canoe. She says yes and they both go canoeing .So first everything is nice but than a storm is comeing over. Because of the storm they are fall into the water. They came out off the water and eat soething and sit next to a campfire. They tickel each other and have a lot of fun. Later they go back to the water and see much wild animals and feed them. At the end of the trip, they stand together and look into the sky, Holding their Hands and Cathy feel very Close to Jamie. Finally Jamie kiss her.

Chapter No. 9:

In chapter nine, Cathy talks with the snakeman a lot. They talk about tattoos because the snakeman has one too. He says that Cathy would look nice with a Tattoo. At the end of this chapter he wants to go on a ride with Cathy on his motorcycle. Cathy says she have to ask her mother before they can go on. She go into her bed because her head was still hurting.

Chapter No. 10:

Chapter number ten is about a dream from Cathy. She dreams about the snakemen and that they both are on a trip to a mountain. On that mountain they see Dr. Callahan an Mr. Black. The snakemen always wants that Cathy give him a kiss but she didn't want to. At the end she woke up and realizes that it only was a dream. A bad dream.

Chapter No. 11:

Cathy tells Jamie all about the Snakemen. She tells him everything from the beginning to the last Thing that happened. They have the idea to make a article about him and publish it to get help but the problem is that they can't wait that Long time. At the end Jamie promised that he will help her.

Chapter No. 12:

In chapter twelve Jamie and Cathy go the Mrs Southerland. They talk abourt the article which Cathy wants to publish about the snakemen but Mrs Southerland don't like the idea and Jamie is also on the side from Mrs southerland so she begin to cry and end the friendship with Jamie.

Chapter No. 13:

In the 13th chapter Cathy sit in the Cafeteria and eat Pizza with her friend Ophir. She Shows him a tattoo of a Dragon on her arm which Looks like the Tattoo of the snakemen. She notice that Jamie can hear her she begin to talk about a trip with the snakemen and that the had much fun on it. When Ophir leaves the Cafeteria, Jamie and Cathy have an Argument because the Situation at the Office. At the end he wants to know how he can win her heart back and she answers that he should talk again with Mrs Southerland about her idea. Then she removes the Tattoo and they smiled at each other.

Chapter No. 14:

The 14th chapter is when Jamie has already spoken with Mrs Southerland so he tells Cathy about it. He tells her that the factually adviser said, that they will not publish it. Cathy is sad and also angry about this but Jamie said something what makes her happy. He said that the can publish it, without any permission. It's a risk, but they will do it.

Chapter No. 15:

In Chapter 15 is a secret Meeting in the room of 'the beacon'. All members are at the Meeting and Jamie tells them the plan which Catyhy and he have made. At the end of the Meeting everyone leaves the room one by one. Jamie goes with the bodygards to a big White van where the Driver gives him some newspaper. They repeat it and then they gives the newspaper to the members of the newspaper stands. The newspapers sells very fast and after the break every newspaper is sold. They sit in class and then it knocks on the door. Jamie and Cathy are called into the principale Office.

Chapter No. 16:

The 16th Chapter of the book is about a conversation in the principal Office because they published the article about the snakemen. Mr Callahan shouts very loudly at them but then they Interrupt by a phone call of the Mayor. The Mayor is happy about the published article of the both. Mr Callahan hung up and then the both teachers apologzies and expain the Problem about helping them. Camie and Cathy want to give a press conference in the evening.

Chapter No. 17:

The 17th Chapter is the end of the snakemen. The Police search for the snakemen but they can't find them anywhere. Cathy has fear so her mum does a Group to talk about it. Every week came more and more People into the Group. At the final Meeting Ophir Comes with a newspaper with an article about Gordon Baker, the snakemen. He is dead. First Cathy is shocked but then she is happy and her fear is away.
