1st

In the first chapter of the book “Snakeman” the first person is Cathy. She is also the most important person of this chapter. Cathy changed the school three times in five years. At Cathy’s first lesson her class teacher Mr. Deedles introduce Cathy. She doesn´t want to be an outsider so she acts a good girl and makes an interview (with her classmate Jamie Janson) for the school-newspaper of the Portland High school after her first lesson. They finished the interview in the cafeteria and they talked about her hobbies.

2nd

In the second chapter Cathy met for the first time the “Snakeman”. It was after school as Cathy opened her locker and suddenly there were three big boys. One of them was the Snakeman. The boys forced Cathy to join their club but Cathy didn´t want. After she said that she doesn´t want to join the Snakeman pushed Cathy in front of a wall. Cathy lasted so she put her knee between the Snakeman’s legs but he wore a cup. After a short dialog, Cathy had to join their club and she had to pay five dollars to them.

3rd

In the third chapter Cathy went home after her school was ended. In the bus, Cathy thought about the things which happened before a few minutes. When she was home Cathy told her little brother nothing from the Snakeman. Cathy act as if nothing happened. Then she asked Mike how his first day was. He meant it was good. After this dialog, Mike went to the park to play football and Cathy was eased to be alone with her minds. She went to her room and there she thought that she will tell her mum about her problem in a few days.

4th

In the fourth chapter take action on Cathy´s failure non-resistance-strategy. On the next day in school the Snakeman met Cathy again to get her money again but Cathy didn´t paid her money instantly so the Snakeman wanted to get Cathy´s necklace. Cathy didn´t want to give him her necklace too. After that the Snakeman become angrily and he seems to be hard. At the end, Cathy gave him her necklace.

8th

In chapter eight Cathy continues her things on her list. Cathy wanted to find friend so she concentrates on her classmates so she found friends. Then Cathy and Jamie went canoeing and after a few hours a storm distended over them. Even a lightning crossed the sky. Because that Cathy and Jamie overbalanced. They fell into the ice, cold water and then they swam to the coast. There they made a fire so that they could get warm. Cathy and Jamie gave each other a massage to warm up their muscle after what they tickled each other and had fun. After both (Cathy and Jamie) were dried and raked up they went to their canoes and paddled through a wonderfully scenery. When the sun went down Cathy and Jamie put their canoes out of the water and after they did that Cathy kissed Jamie.

9th

Chapter nine is about a “Change” between the Snakeman and Cathy. Cathy should get a tattoo. First the Snakeman shows Cathy his tattoos, a dragon and other. Then the Snakeman asked Cathy if she wanted came with him and drive with him on his chopper. He said also that Cathy has one week. Later, at the way home Cathy thought about the offer from the Snakeman. Cathy realized that the Snakeman wanted she and not that he didn´t want the money. Because that Cathy made a new plan.

10th

In the tenth chapter Cathy get bad dreams about the Snakeman. She dreamed that the Snakeman ride with Cathy to the top of a big mountain, where Mr. Black and Dr. Callahan were too. Cathy asked them for help but they didn´t move. Then the Snakeman said that he had all might about the school and Cathy could have that too if she would be the Snakeman´s girl. Cathy only had to kiss him but suddenly the Head of him wasn´t a head from a human it was a head from a snake. Cathy wanted to flee and run away but he was faster.

11th

In chapter 11 Cathy told Jamie about the Snakeman after the staff meeting. She tells him everything about the Snakeman and about her plan. After that Jamie said that he would help Cathy to built a “team” with students and teachers which would help to fight against the Snakeman. To find these people Cathy wrote an article for the school newspaper. The only bad check by this were that the newspaper didn´t come out at the next week so they initiated Mr. Southerland to brought the newspaper earlier than otherwise.

12th

The 12th chapter of the book “Snakeman” deals with meeting of Cathy, Jamie and Ms. Southerland. Cathy and Jamie had to show Ms. Southerland them ideas for the text about the Snakeman for the school newspaper. When Cathy started to explain them ideas she realized that Ms. Southerland didn´t like them ideas. Something was wrong. Ms. Southerland only wants to publish positive texts in the school newspaper. Cathy didn´t understand than so she asked Jamie to say something about that but he was on Ms. Southerland´s side. Also the meeting ended with an argument between Cathy and Jamie.

13th

Chapter 13 deals about a meeting between Cathy and a boy. The boy´s name is Ophir. He and Cathy ate pizza. As Jamie arrived he wanted to talk alone with Cathy but she showed him first her dragon tattoo on her arm. Jamie got a bad feeling so he was very shocked. After that Jamie asked Cathy whether is a way to win Cathy´s feelings back because he still loves she. Cathy said that Jamie should go to Ms. Southerland because she must let them the article about the Snakeman. Jamie tried to argue Ms. Southerland about it and after that Cathy showed Jamie that the tattoo was faked.

14th

The fourteenth chapter is about the result of the discussion between Jamie and Ms. Southerland. Jamie told Cathy that Ms. Southerland said no to him and that he lost his job. After that Jamie told Cathy that they will bring out a special edition of the school newspaper out of the permissions from Ms. Southerland.

15th

The fifteenth chapter of the book deals with the special edition of the school newspaper, the Beacon. Jamie and Cathy mounted a team for this edition with twelve people. Six staff members from the newspaper and six where bodyguards. As the last members came to their conference Jamie started to explain Cathy´s and his plan. After that they started to work to realize their plan and after they finished the article came a van to them. A man to droped out of the van an gave the packages to Jamie and the others. Then they all brought it in the school. The school newspaper was sold out after a short time. In the afternoon Jamie and Cathy had to go to the principal.

16th

The 16th chapter deals with the conversation by the school principal. By the conversation were Ms. Southerland, Dr. Callahan, Cathy and Jamie. All adults there were very angry about them and the situation. Suddenly Dr. Callahan’s phone rang. The Mayor Simpson were on the phone and he told about the problem. The Mayor said that the police was called and that a press conference will be on the evening too.

17th

The last chapter, the 17th, is about the Snakeman and that he left the town because the police and the story from the special edition of the school newspaper. Past short spell Cathy and Jamie found a group where everyone is able to talk about their fears. All people of these group break the deadlock except Cathy. Cathy though the Snakeman would take payback so she was afraid all the time. At the last meeting of the group Jamie and Ophir showed Cathy an article in the real newspaper there was written about the dead of the Snakeman. There was written that he died in a gunfight too. After that Cathy was shocked but after a few days she was very relieved about that.
