Philip, Duke of Edinburg- husband and consort of Queen Elizabeth II
Philip was born in Greece and being educated in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. In 1939 he joined the British Royal navi. After the war, Philip was granted permission by King George VI to marry Elizabeth. Moreover he left active military service when Elizabeth became monarch in 1952, which was very important to him and his new family: The Royal Family.
