PURPOSE
The World Bank had been originally established in order to help European countries with their reconstruction after the Second World War. These days it assists developing countries around the world to keep up with the rapid global development. With financial as well as diplomatic aid to poor countries, the World Bank states its purpose to tackle international poverty with loans without interest and consultations free of charge. The global wealth and fulfilment of common human rights around the world is key to this institution.
