- repitition of a word or group of words in successive clauses
e.g.: "Every day, every night, in every way, I am getting better and better."
parallelism
- phrases or sentences of similiar construction and meaning placed side by side
e.g.: "What you see is what you get."
repitition
- to reuse the same word or group of words following no particular placement
e.g.: "The boy was a good footballer, because his father was a footballer, and his grandfather was a footballer."
