Basic rule

In every complete sentence is a subject and a main verb. Many sentences have an object. The order of the Basic parts in a sentence is:

1. subject
2. verb
3. object

Example:

Tina loves ice cream.

Subject: Tina

Verb: loves

Object: ice cream

Deeper Explanation

Subject, verb and object aren't the only parts of a sentence. There are place and time as well.The order of all of those sentence parts is:

1. subject
2. verb
3. object
4. place
5. time

Example:

Tina goes with her friends to the Shopping Center at six o'clock.

Subject: Tina

Verb: goes

Object: with her friends

Place: to the Shopping Center

Time: at six o'clock

This isn't the only possible order of those sentece parts.It can be like this as well:

1. Time
2. Place
3. Subject
4. Verb
5. Object

Example:

Last Monday in School my class watched a movie.

Time:Last Monday

Place: in School

Subject: my class

Verb: watched

Object: a movie

Indirect object

When I say: I buy Max a phone, then you ask 'Who do I buy a phone for? Max. So Max is an indirect object and you replace it with 'him'.

Find the indirect object when there is one:

1. Kevin is doing sports for his muscles.
2. Simon is searching for Videogames.
3. Camola is studying vocabulary for the vocabulary test.
4. Gabriel is playing with Jesus.
5. Melanie is putting her stuff away.
6. Klaus is cleaning his room for the visitors.
7. Max is buying a keyboard for me.
8. My mum cleans the living room.
